Spotify Premium Duo launched in July
Music streaming app Spotify launched its Premium Duo subscription plan globally in July. This new plan has been rolled out in 55 countries including India. In India, it can be subscribed for a price of Rs 149 a month. In this new premium plan, two users will be able to use the same account. In this, users will get access to the exclusive Duo Mix playlist. Spotify Premium Duo’s monthly subscription is much lower in India than in other countries. Its price in the US is $ 13 (about Rs 980) and in the UK it is priced at Euro 13 (about Rs 1,220).
If you are already a Spotify Premium user, then you can switch to this new plan through Spotify’s official website. After logging into your account on the official website, you will get the option to switch plans in the account section. The Spotify app was launched in India in early 2019. Since launch, the app has been challenging several online music streaming apps in India, including other music streaming apps gaana, prime music, jioSaavn, Airtel Wynk.
