Offline AI Video Translation Made Easy

1 First Time Setup

When you run Anolig Translator for the first time, it needs to set up the AI environment.

  • Library Download: The app will automatically download necessary AI libraries (PyTorch, FFmpeg) if they are missing. Please allow this process to complete; it happens only once.
  • Models: The default "Base" model is downloaded automatically. You can download larger models (Small, Medium, Large) from the settings for better accuracy.

2 How to Translate (Video, Audio, or SRT)

Anolig Translator supports Video, Audio, and even existing Subtitle (.srt) files.

  1. Click "Select File" and choose your media or subtitle file.
  2. No need to select the original language! The AI automatically detects the source language with high accuracy.
  3. Simply select the Target Language you want (e.g., English, Arabic, Spanish).
  4. Click "Translate".

💡 Powerful Feature: You can translate an existing .srt file directly! Useful if you already have subtitles in one language and want to convert them to another instantly.

3 Output & Subtitles

Once finished, you will find:

  • .srt File: A subtitle file named exactly like your video.
  • Usage: Ensure the .srt file continues to be in the same folder as the video. Open the video with VLC or any player, and subtitles will appear automatically.

4 Pro Tips

Use GPU If you have an NVIDIA card, enable CUDA in settings for 10x faster processing.

Large Model For best accuracy, use the 'Large' model, but note it takes longer and requires more RAM.

Troubleshooting

Download Error? If model download fails, check your internet connection and try again.

FFmpeg/Library Error? The app downloads necessary libraries to your AppData (Roaming) folder. Ensure you have internet access on first run to complete this setup.
